UPM Collaborates with School of Economics and Finance, Xi’an International Studies University to Enhance International Cooperation

China, April 23, 2024 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) through the School of Business and Economics (SPE) warmly visited and held discussions with the School of Economics and Finance, Xi’an International Studies University to develop strategic cooperation.

The delegation from the School of Business and Economics, UPM (SPE UPM) was represented by Prof. Dr. Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin (Dean of SPE) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anuar Shah Bali Mahomed (Deputy Dean of Graduates) along with Zhou Lei, Deputy Director (International Cooperation and Exchange), Prof. Dr. Li Cunpu (Dean), Dr. Tian Jing (Deputy Dean), faculty staffs, and Dr. Gu Guoxing (Accompanying Officer) were involved in the discussions.

Proposed cooperation includes the Offshore Graduate Program, staff and student exchanges, joint international conference organization, academic engagement and collaborative research, mobility initiatives, executive development programs, and suggestions for signing an MoU.

This marks an important step in strengthening academic relations and expanding education and economic opportunities internationally. The collaboration sought is hoped to enhance the reputation and impact of both institutions on the international stage and open new avenues for the development of knowledge and sustainability of cooperation in the future.
