The journal requirements.
All authors must sign the Transfer of Copyright agreement before the article can be published. The author must declare in a cover letter to the editor that the article has not been published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. The author will receive a complimentary copy of the issues in which his or her article published.
All manuscripts should be typed in double-spacing and printed on one side of the paper and be numbered consecutively. Titles and subtitles should be short. Footnotes, references, tables, and legends for the figures should be printed on separate pages.The style of footnotes and references should substantially follow the standard of the American Economic Review.
On the first page of the manuscript, the author must provide the following information: the title; the name(s) and institutional affiliation(s) of the author(s); an abstract of not more than 200 words; five key words should be supplied; indicate at least one Journal of Economic Literature classification code; author correspondence address, telephone, e-mail and fax numbers.
In cases where the derivation of formulae has been abbreviated, it is of great help to the referees if the full derivation can be presented on a separate sheet and this will not to be published. Illustrations will be reproduced photographically from originals supplied by the author and should be numbered consecutively in the text in Arabic numerals on separate page.
The journal titles should not be abbreviated. Page proofs will be sent to the corresponding author. The responsibility for detecting errors lies with the author.
